Project Gutenberg
By Harmony | January 26, 2009 | 12:09 pm
A fellow PCV just turned me onto Project Gutenberg, the first and largest collection of free e-books online. There are over 27,000 complete titles available in the catalog, plus access to 100,000 other titles via partner and affiliate sites. You can download these books as small text files and read them on your computer at your leisure. I think this may just be the best little nugget I’ve discovered since I’ve been here. Almost as good as real American candy. Almost.
You won’t find new titles here; it’s all copyright-free stuff. But you can find many of the classics.
If you’ve never heard of Project Gutenberg and want to check it out, go to:
Enjoy!

Hey thanks for this link. I’m down to my last real book, so this is great!
